Werakata National park enjoys a temperate climate.

summarise some features of the climate. These figures have been recorded over 26 years at Nulkaba, which is immediately to the west of the northern aspect of Werakata National Park.

      On average about 27 days of the year experience temperatures below 2 degrees (frost point), but only 10 days below 0 degrees. About 19 days, on average, are above 35 degrees and only 2 days on average are above 40 degrees.
